Before and After

Here it is, filled and ready for me to paint!

Old box before the ocean disaster

No, really, it's not a trick question, but can you tell the differences between my old pastel collection and my new collection?

Tomorrow I will paint! Yay!

someone's wallet is lighter today! the difference? You don't have any handmade pastels in the box? Congratulations...now keep everything dry! lol.

Believe me, keeping it dry is HIGH on my priority list!

No handmade pastels (Kitty says we can make some when I get back!). True.

But I notice nearly empty red and pink trays and few yellows.

Someone's wallet is so light, could be a personal flotation device! No, no. No more ocean splashing for me.

so how come less red/pink/yellow?

So there's this old story about pirates, and how they always have one hand for whatever they're doing (swinging a sword, slopping a bucket, using a mop...), but the other hand is always for the ship.

Glad you're safe - if you're interested in water aerobics, I can think of a few nicer places to do it...

Hugs from Auburn!

Thanks, Celeste, for your question. I bought several "landscape" pastel sets to replace what I lost and it seems that none of them had much in the reds/oranges/yellows. My mistake for not paying closer attention.

Hey, Alex! How did pirates do that when they had a hook?

I will follow that advice every time I step off. In fact, you'll have to pry my hands away to get me off!

Hugs back!
