figures and Matisse

I am experimenting with figure painting and how I might turn a sketch from life drawing into a painting. This is a new piece and as I painted it, I was thinking of Matisse and his wild use of color and curved lines for figures.

I like the perspective over the shoulder of your nude. She's as luscious as a fruit bowl.

This is soooo good, I mean your painting. I love her pose and the "Matissian" colours.

Unfortunately we cannot see the video in Germany - has to do with some kind of copyright thing, intellectual properties. Not nice.
