Wow--haven't checked in for a while.. Interesting reading your earlier posts with your free-er-flowing falls and colour and this beautiful atmouspheric(Canadian spelling) grey-blue sky and water with an underlying..hmm..a wee bit of turbulent -feel? Absolutely gorgeous strokes and masses--..if it makes you feel any better it is stifling hot and humid here with air quality warnings--even I have not ventured out longer than 1/2hr intervals for quick sketches!
Well, the sun finally came out and with it were HUGE black flies. The kind of flies that land on you and bite. Ugh! I'll go back to rain and dreary rather than do more battle with flies!
Thanks for the comments! The sun made me so happy, I think I became giddy for color! No worries, it's back to rain today. Sigh.

And yet you went with blue, and not gray. My compliments! Maybe summer is still out there, somewhere.
Your feeling of fog- thick, oppressive fog is a strong concept in this painting.
You continue to do a lot for the colorful nature of fog. This combo of violets and greens (sort of) is always a pleasing one.
It does you no good, but it's gray and rainy here today, too.
word verif-- kinwoof
Consider it a cheerful message from the dogs.
