People on San Juan Island

A musician in a bluegrass band. A girl at a coffee house. People watching and people sketching makes me happy. Roche Harbor in the sunshine. That makes me happy, too.

Sounds like the place to be and the person to be with. Love the paintings .

Good Stuff Katherine. I haven't heard how the painting hand off was yesterday because I wasn't there. Your photo of Roach makes me a little nostalgic. See ya sooner than later!

Did the people know you were painting them ? Or were you pretending you were painting the landscape as I've done several times. Great view of the marina!

Wow! You've got some seriously good masterpieces here!

Thanks, Ralph, Carrie, Celeste, Suzanne, and Lance. Roche Harbor is a pretty place, especially in the sunshine. Every evening at sunset they have a ceremony with music and taking down the Canadian and US flags. Then the cannon goes off. Not many places like this!

Thanks for posting your happy watercolors.

Any place with a cannon going off every evening at sundown has a place on MY map!
