Yes, you read right! Casey Klahn, pastel artist and blogger of "The Colorist", is coming to town. He's not only coming to town, he's coming to MY studio to conduct a workshop! Starts tomorrow! Casey promises that we will "Never look at your pastels the same way again."

Oh, yeah. It's gonna be GOOD!

Did you put that video on for all your east coast friends who can't make it? I'm jealous, but James and Robert in the same video is a great substitute. Have a great time!

I knew Casey was doing a workshop in Portland but didn't know it was going to be in your studio. No wonder you're excited! Take pictures!
Put me on the jealous list.

Hi Sara -- I was so tired by the end of the days, I was searching for words. I'll have more to say in the days ahead!

John -- thanks! I love my studio space!

Kvan's house is outtah sight!
My class of artist's are outtah sight!

This video was a premature celebration, Katherine. We did have an enormous amount of fun in our class, only it was "fun" like bucking hay at harvest is "fun." Like big wall rock like climbing is "like" fun - the fun part was the very hard work of getting to a breakthrough. Not for the timid!

Casey, not premature. I was just excited about the upcoming weekend! It was a good time! Thank you.
