Before repainting one of my "failed" paintings, Casey suggested I make several composition sketches before jumping in with the re-do.

Thank you for faithfully posting on the workshop, Katherine. Even Lorie commented that she's never seen me start - finish a painting all the way through.
I want to say how wonderful it was to see your work in real life. Your feel for the abstract landscape is singular and unique: it speaks to your ideas.
It was a challenge to offer you problems/solutions on your paintings, but gave me a chance to stretch myself. And, I have a "fund of perversity" with which to cause trouble with.

Hi Casey! Thanks for the comments about my work. Oh, I felt challenged like when you limited my lines from 5 to 3 with which to draw a landscape. Great exercise.
I hope we have a chance to paint big together some day. It's a different ball game, to be sure.
