Katherine, Welcome back to the Pacific Northwest. You've been gone a long long time. Thanks for your updates along the way, it was fun to travel along when you were able to post. Glad you are home safe and sound.

Glad to hear you got home in one piece. Looks like lots of lovely rain and beautiful green, and I'm sure your trees were glad to see you again. I'm also sure everyone you saw on this trip benefited from the visit.
Thanks again for taking the time to stop here for a bit, too. We totally enjoyed it. As they say, come again.

Welcome home! That is one very long road trip! I am planning to take a road trip with my daughter this summer and would love to hear your advice!

Thanks, Joni! It took about 5 days before I was out in the studio again, but not because anything was awry at home. Ship shape, as they say! I was only a little worried that we would discover a family of squirrels in the family room...

Thanks, Sam! It was so nice to meet you and Mr. Sam and we do look forward to seeing you again. Maybe you'll make it out this way one day, too.

We left home December 28 and it was about 39 degrees and raining. We returned home and it was 39 degrees and raining. The next day it snowed. But on the third day, it was glorious sparkling emerald everything in the sunshine. Ahhh. Good to be home!
