I met a marine artist on the trip who did gorgeous pen and ink drawings of boats (fishing, sail, tall ships) with so much detail it was remarkable. But, he had to work from photos since he was so slow.

That is a great sketch. There's something to be said for a loose style. Difficult though, since we often want to be very detailed.
