Again you amaze me. Stunning work that captures everything about the flowers including what they say. Thank you so much for your email it meant so much to me

Great irises! Big purple ones were my dad's favorite flower.

Your iPhone experiments are good enough to take it along on your adventure. Hope that's what you're planning. I'd hate to have you off the air for months. Hope you have a grand time, make lots of art and post it all! No pressure.

Thanks for the comments!

Ralph -- I've been painting at this garden for the last four years and every year it thrills me. Such variety and bounty!

Sam -- I hope to use my iPhone while I'm on my trip, but I was disappointed by the quality of the picture. Try, try again!

Angie -- glad to hear that you're safely at Port Angeles! I know you LOVE irises, as I do.

Looks like you worked hard and had a very productive day. All your paintings look great. The irises are my favorite.

Thanks, Anon. I worked hard but not as hard as I had planned: four pieces of paper in my trunk, but only three paintings. Still, not too bad!

I love them all, but the poppy is a dazzler!
