Workshop painting, Day 1

I never expect to paint a masterpiece at a workshop, but I like this one. The scene is the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge. Oh, sure, there is plenty of room for improvement, but I like the light on the water. I can hardly wait for tomorrow!

Great looking art. Yes, the water is delicious. The exercises looked like fun. Been thinking about a pastel workshop myself someday.

Katherine,

I love this one! I would like to wander down and see this in person. As always I'm enjoying your adventure through art. "You've come a long way , baby" sounds so trite, but to see how much you have matured artistically is so much fun.

By the way, you're much to young to join the Red Hat Ladies!

Thanks for the comments! Workshops can be intense learning experiences. I feel like the kid in the "Far Side" comic. My brain is full, can I be excused?
