delightful gestures

I am fortunate to have good art friends. Today we spent time at my favorite spot, the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. Sketching, talking, laughing, enjoying the landscape, listening to bird calls, more talking. It was a fantastic day.

How about you?

Today only just started, so I haven't gotten past the computer and coffee! Glad you liked the video. It was fun. We've planned another SE Alaska trip. This time in and around Sitka. Can't wait!

Those Scarecrows are works of art in their own rite.

Hi Pam! We LOVED Sitka and the area around it. Of all of the towns we hung out in, Sitka was our favorite. I'm so glad that your experience the first time around makes you hunger for more! Lucky you! Lucky us, who get to see your paintings and photos!

Carrie and Sam -- those scarecrows were a delightful surprise!! Glad you enjoyed them, too. K.
