Mood and meaning change with color

Color changes cause the mood to change and the shapes to take on different meanings.

I really like the level of detail you are arriving at in your textures. Not enough to overtake the overall shapes, but just enough to engage the eye for a while. These pieces are maturing well.

William: I post these paintings as if to say "Voila!" and give them the old Vanna White hand gestures. But, really I feel much more tentative about things. Like my paintings are becoming something unfamiliar to me and I am dancing on the edge of the floor where the parquet is starting to drop away. Thanks for the comment! If this is maturity, it's high time!
