It's been about 8 years since I played in the (really great, very best) band. I miss it a lot, but mostly I miss the (really great, very best) leader and vocalist of the band. He and I worked together like a super-intuitive amazing team. I hope to work with him again sometime soon. It just might happen. You never know.

Love the music you posted. Sting is brilliant and has been one of my favorites for years. I am encouraging my 13 year old son to include music in his life because it is a lifetime experience, unlike video games. ;-) He is taking drum lessons so we've purchased a set of drums. I just bought a bass and amp this past week because it's an experience I've always wanted to take on. Ya never know, maybe I'll be on a stage someday. haha! I do crave that intuitive creative musical connection though for sure.I think it must be one of the most heavenly experiences on earth. So for now, my motto is: Set up the instruments and the band will come!
Seems you've been doing some super-intuitive art lately. Your blog is "Art an Music", so go ahead!
Hi Joni! Good for you for encouraging your son to music! Music will always give him a place to be, even as he grows up. My sons were both in the jazz band at school and their between-class times were spent with other musicians, listening to music, trying new things out, and having a strong sense of belonging.
And, you on the bass?! What a trip! Will you take lessons, too, or just wing it? You and your son will make a great team!! Some day I'll bring up the keys and we can all jam! Best! Kvan
Hi Sam! I just ran into this guy the other day. Could happen! Thanks about the recent work. Feels more vulnerable, but that's okay.
