Landscape with water

Tomorrow it's back to fruit!

Seriously, I feel like I'm wrestling with a pot of spaghetti noodles. Making a mess, fumbling around, thinking that I got a handle on it only to have a tangle of noodles in my hair and hanging off my sleeves!!

I hope that Thomas Kitts is having a great time in Laguna Beach, but I can hardly wait for him to get back to tell me to twirl or cut.

Tomorrow I will paint fruit again. Sigh.

You are being way too hard on yourself...there is more right here than wrong for sure. The rocks in particular have great temperature/shapes..the water probably needs to have more color? Well, I think it looks better than you must think it does. haha...spaghetti.

Celeste is right. This is better than you think. Throw it against the wall; it'll stick.

Hi Kvan,
I agree with Celeste and Sam, you need to be kinder to yourself. Changing mediums is very challenging. Realize there is a learning/adjustment curve and cut yourself some slack. Believe me I know.
The best part is your brain grows and every part of your work(pastel and oil) will benefit. Think of it as if you are learning a new language..have you ever done that? Struggle for a while then occasionally a light will go on. It makes more synapses in the brain connect. Only good comes from that.
And try your spaghetti hot with delicious pesto it's tasty that way;-)
