It was a gray day today and I barely had any time at the refuge to get in the big shapes before I had to duck for cover. Back in the studio, I added a few more touches and called it good. The urge to do "just one more thing" is powerful. It's what can ruin a painting, and I know that because I have ruined many. Self-restraint does not come easily.
