Hand made pastels
It's like being invited in to a delivery room to watch a live birth. Participating in a workshop where Kitty Wallis teaches the class how to make pastels, well, it's like watching each person awaken to their playful, technicolor selves. It's labor intensive, and kind of messy, but look at all of the sticks of pure color we made! I got to take home some of them, too. Now, wait about a week and then I can start to use them! Woo hoo!

Dear Katherine,
This sounds fantastic and very rewarding too!
I can just see the wheels in your mind turning, thinking about the colours that you would like to create and are not available in stores.
Warmest regards,
Egmont
oh my! More custom made pastels--! this has to make everyone involved really happy. New paintings ahead!
This is so cool! Imagine the magic that will come from the art you create with these!
Why can't you use them today? Wht's this waiting a week biz?
Hi Carrie, the pastels have to be completely dry before I can use them. Might take about a week.
They look gorgeous! mmmmmmmm.
