For real? You crossed the Gulf of Alaska in 12 hours? Totally intergalactic, dude. Dutch Treat really hauls!

Is there color in fog? This painting shows it beautifully.
Like I said, OUT THERE.

Well, we don't really haul, but we are in Alaskan waters at Ketchikan today.

Mary Island Anchorage is the name on the chart of where we anchored for the night, at Mary Island, AK. No Gulf crossing for us!

Confusing to follow when I'm not speaking clearly. Must be the scent of salmon on the air!

another very sensitive fog painting.

Wow, very interesting post, thanks. Poor puffins, poor bears, cool items.
I was seasick on my only boat trip...the kind of nausea that makes you pray for death.

Thanks for the comments, Jala and Loriann! Seasickness is terrible! There's no place to escape it, either. You just have to endure it (and wish for death) and then give thanks when it's over!

I have had a lot of rainy, foggy, cloudy days to paint and study moisture in the air. It's been good, but I'm hoping for a little more sun!
