Bainbridge Island graffiti art and lava lamps

unexpected art on Bainbridge Island

water reflects the sky and clouds in elipses

gray skies and dark evergreens in roundish bits

I keep watching the reflections in the water. It calms like a lava lamp!

The lava lamp is too funny. I will show my daughter and see what she thinks.

Watching 11 minutes of lava lamp is probably not unlike watching liquid river reflections. Dazed and confused by beauty.

Those are lovely photos of the sky reflections on moving water. Do I see thoughts for images that can go into abstact paintings?

These water images are also great 'tracking' exercises.
Have you ever reached for a color and had trouble finding the exact spot where you wanted to put it? I have. I found that doing these water patterns help me get the memory 'muscle' to return to the same spot quickly. Fewer errors based on frustration: -Where was I working? Here? no, maybe here... Hmmm

You find some pretty cool stuff. Good thing you're an artist!

There is indeed something wonderful about water. Living by the sea I watch it daily and listen to its words. Lovely.
