The MOG is a great place. Glad to see your report. Did you go boating?

Beautiful landscape! Yours? Is the photo taken across it at an angle or straight on? More about the workshop, please.

Color junkies love glass! Contrary to contrarians, Chihuly's work has always fascinated me. He said glassmakers like to work in the Northwest because of the cooler temps and the humidity. So, in addition to his, the MOG must be full of great stuff.

Hi Casey! We are floating around Puget Sound. Life is good!

Sam: yes, the photo was taken from an angle since the piece was put into the oven before I took a photo of it straight on. This will be put into an oven and the glass will slump together into a solid piece. They will mail it to me at home when it's cool enough to send. I'll post the piece when I get it and tell more about the workshop.

The Museum of Glass is a must-see in this area and has a lot of Chihuly glass (as does the Bridge of Glass). I love it and absolutely love the color and forms.

By the way, Sam ... any chance you'll plan a trip out this way some time?
